News about Rails Of Fun Holiday Park

ALL DONATIONS COLLECTED GO TO THE ST. LOUIS SHRINERS HOSPITAL Greetings! Rails Of Fun Holiday Park 2024 is now open! 4008 Healy Ct., 63123 FREE train rides for children every night (weather permitting) from 5PM – 9PM through December 31st. The St. Louis area’s only interactive Christmas display that allows children to ride through on two separate antique, amusement park, kiddie train rides. The first train ride takes them through Candy Cane Lane, then through the Land of Love, then on the runway leading them into a Time Tunnel. This takes them back to the year 1965, where they end up in a drive-in movie theater showing the 1965 movie A Charlie Brown Christmas. They see the original eleven characters in the movie next to the speaker poles. Then, they find out that back in the day, many drive-in theaters had miniature train rides for kids around the playgrounds next to their screens. Well, so does my Uhleview Outdoor Theater. A second train ride then takes them around the miniature playground filled with more Charlie Brown characters! Donations are accepted with every penny going directly to the St. Louis Shriners Hospital, either from visitors donations in my collections jar at the entrance, or through my Shriners page; In Memory Of Uncle Oscar's fundraising page for Shriners Hospitals for Children; Last year, I collected over $7,600 from the jar at the end of my driveway along with $800 from my Shriners page. The total was another single season record for me. If the weather is kind and with the improvements I’ve made this year, I am hoping to someday reach my personal goal for the St. Louis Shriners Hospital of $10,000 in one season! Attached is a link to my photos and video clips from opening night this past Friday, Nov. 29. https://photos.app.goo.gl/1fVCHSbw8qfukfEQ8 Thank you and wish you the best of holidays! Description of Rails Of Fun Holiday Park
The only interactive Christmas lights display for children where they ride through on a 70 year old amusement park kiddie train ride. They start in Xmas Land then go through a time tunnel back to the year 1965, where they end up in the middle of a drive-in theater showing the 1965 classic: A Charlie Brown Christmas! Then, they find out that back in the day, many drive-in theaters had miniature train rides for kids going around their playgrounds. Now, they find out that the Uhleview Outdoor Theater also has one! My little 35 night amusement park now has TWO amusement train rides! FREE train rides for the kids, weather permitting. Santa Clause visits on Saturday nights in December! Every penny collected goes directly to the St. Louis Shriners Hospital for Children. Last year, $8,446.96 was collected from the jar at the end of my driveway and directly to my Shriners page; https://donate.lovetotherescue.org/fundraiser/3083646 Tune In: 90.1FM for the house lights dancing to (12) Trans-Siberian Orchestra songs with one minute intermissions.
